Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) Open Exhibition

Exhibition Dates: 18th July - 29th August 2019

Open event Thursday 22nd August 2019 3pm - 6pm

Through the Annual Open Exhibition DAC showcases and tours the work of Wales based disabled and deaf artists, or those living with long term physical and/or mental health conditions.

The artwork being shown is from their Open Exhibition, and includes work from emerging, up-and-coming artists, as well as professional artists of long standing.  All are members of Disability Arts Cymru (DAC)

Their aim is to raise the profile of the artists involved; increase artwork sales; support and develop career progression and to build relationships between peers and with exhibiting venues.

The Theme this year is Trust: DAC asked for artists’ to consider the theme personally and/or politically, with some surprising results.
