Can you spare two hours per week or more to help out in our workshops?
We support some of the most disadvantaged members of the community to have a creative life, and you could be helping groups to explore a wide range of creative activities from sculpture, textiles and puppet making!

Other volunteering opportunities:
We always appreciate any help people would like to offer but we also have some specific needs. At the moment we would really appreciate some help with the preparing and decorating of the iron railings which run around the outside of our carpark. We would also appreciate some help with keeping the gardens and grounds clean, tidy and looking attractive. If you or anyone you know is interested then please get in touch, 01597 822777, we can offer tea and biscuits!!
Artists in Residence:
We have ongoing opportunities to become our ‘artist in residence’. We run a varied programme at our centre in Llandrindod Wells. If you are an artist and want to find out more, contact us on 01597 82277 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Internships: At present we are unable to accept applications for internships
The jobs market is highly competitive and the skills for your ideal job often don't just come through education. At Celf we welcome applications from anyone wanting to learn how skills and experience are applied in a progressive arts organisation. We welcome interns from all over the world and encourage diversity in all areas of how we work.
Board of Trustees (unpaid)
We are currently looking to appoint a new member to the Board of Trustees. Celf o Gwmpas creates projects, exhibitions and residencies that open up opportunities for participation, developing artistic practice and supporting social inclusion.
Celf o Gwmpas has a strong commitment to inclusion, participation and diversity. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates who will bring additional diversity to the board, and will complement the skill set of existing trustees.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate strengths in working within the FINANCE & HUMAN RESOURCES Sector.
All candidates will need to be willing to work at a strategic level as a non-executive. Celf expects all trustees to support the organisation, staff and other board members.

Are you a life model?
We are looking for life models both male and female to model for a regular life drawing class at Centre Celf, every other Wednesday starting from 9th October 2019.
The tutor is Sandy Craig, an experienced life drawing tutor and the class will run from 7 - 9pm.
Payment is £15 an hour/£30 per session.
If you have experience and are interested please contact Sarah on 01597 822777 or email email@example.com
Every Wednesday from 10am - 3pm we open out artists studio, free of charge, for anyone to use.
You are welcome to spend all day, call in for an hour and anything in between.
Its a great opportunity to meet and work alongside other artists, have the space to do larger pieces of work, be messier than you would at home, or just have a chamnge of scenery.
Sometimes we may have to close the studio if this is the case we will usually notify people via facebook, but please contact us if you want to make sure its open.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available, we just ask for a donation.
Can you teach drawing?
At Centre Celf we would like to encourage more creative based evening, day and weekend courses which are open to the general public.
We believe a drawing class for beginners would be popular. We would like to run two classes one for adults and one for children.
We would envisage the adult class running on an evening and the children’s class would either be a Friday evening or during the day on a Saturday.
Anyone interested in teaching these classes, either one or both, is invited to submit an outline for a six-week beginners’ course with the anticipation that it would then progress to an improvers course. Obviously, this might be different for a children’s drawing class.
If you are interested please contact us for more details.
