Clwb Celf - Saturday morning art club

This Saturday sees the 2nd of our two sessions learning to weave, on a peg loom using recycled materials, with artist Jane Mason.

Last week was spent getting to grips with how to weave with all the different materials, this week will be all about creating your own thing! If you would like to have a go, but didn’t come last week, thats not a problem, Jane can get you up to speed and weaving quickly.

We will have a break over the Easter holidays and our next session, after this Saturday, will be on April 22nd with artist Terri Sweeney.

There are two sessions each Saturday, during term time, 9.30 - 10.30am for up to 10 year olds and 10.45am - 11.45am for 11 -16 year olds. Each week the young people get to work with a professional artist, learning a wide variety of skills in different mediums, from collage and painting to drawing and felting.

We ask that anyone 10 and under has a parent/carer stay with them, although if this is difficult for any reason we do have a support worker on the sessions who is there to support anyone who may need it.

There is no cost for the sessions. It is advisable to book in advance, especially the session for younger people which is very popular.

If you would like more information please get in touch.
