Application and Submission process

3.   Fill in forms below and pay the submissions fee

4.   Attach up to three images each of up to three separate works: For 2D the first image must be straight on, tightly cropped with no frame. A further two images may be supplied. For 3D work include as much of the work in a single image with some sense of scale. A further two images may be supplied of other views. Supplied images must be a minimum of 1mb and a maximum of 5mb. Please make sure the name of the image files include your name and the title of the work, thank you.

5.   Submissions close at midnight on Friday 30th May 2025. The Deadline has now been extended to Friday 6th June

6.   Artists will be informed if work has been chosen or not by Thursday 12th June 2025

7.   Successful submissions should be clearly labelled with your full name, the title of the work, medium, price and which category you are entering and delivered to Llandrindod Wells on 5th or 6th July 2025. Delivery address will be supplied nearer the date

8.   Artists will be advised of sales, and payment to the artist (minus 30% commission) will be made by bank transfer at the end of the exhibition on receipt of an invoice

9. Unsold work to be collected on Monday 28th July 2025

 

GENERAL INFORMATION & GUIDELINES

There is no theme for this exhibition

A panel will assess every entry and select work for the final exhibition. All work selected will be for sale and will be exhibited in the gallery from 10th - 27th July 2025

All selected work will be judged on individual merit with the judges’ decision as final

Cost to submit work: (one fee for up to 3 pieces)

·         Under 16:    £2

·         16 – 24:      £10

·         Over 24:     £20   

Maximum Size:

·        2D = 100 x 100cm

·        3D = 100 x 100 x 100cm

Artists should submit recent work, produced within the last three years

The work submitted must be the original work of the artist named on the registration form

A maximum of three works may be submitted per applicant. These will be judged individually unless otherwise specified

All works must be for sale. All sales will be subject to a 30% commission. Please consider this when pricing your work

Accepted media: Only physical work will be accepted. Film or video cannot be accommodated

All 2D work must be designed to hang on a wall, framed to gallery standard and fitted with D rings

All 3D work must be risk assessed and ready for display safely. Please provide your own plinth where possible

Exhibitors must make their own arrangements regarding insurance

Digital images of the selected work may be used for promotional purposes

  • Celf o Gwmpas Peoples Prize: £100

  • The Nannerth Landscape Prize: an off peak short break for two.

  • The Mason Sculpture Prize: £100
