Our Current Exhibition

Dancing Together Apart

Celf o Gwmpas’s current exhibition is a collection of photographic portraits presented by Shropshire inclusive Dance by photographer Ming De Nasty. Ming De Nasty was a winner of the 2021 Portrait of Britain awards.

Ming's moving portraits capture SiD company dancers participating in online dance classes. These stunning images, set in the backdrop of the dancer’s own homes, forms a powerful exhibition. The images provide insight into the lives of the four dancers, the joy of dancing during a time of isolation and the importance of connection, home and family.

Alongside this exhibition is a selection of photographs by local artist Steve Harris (deceased) put together by his good friend Jeff Dixon. There will a full exhibition of Steves work in our Gallery space in 2024.

The exhibition runs from 14th September - 26th October and is open Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 4pm and Saturdays 9.30am - 12pm.

If you would like to visit the exhibition but are unable to make the above times, please get in touch and we will endeavour to make visiting possible.
